Hi everyone!
I'm Lydia, but everyone calls me Lyly. I'm 19. I'm French
I gave my life to Christ in october 2004. I have been baptized on june 13th 2010. I have a brother and two sisters, and I'm the youngest. I'm currently in high school, it's my last year! I have health problems and no it's not that much of a bad thing after all because it got me closer to God, and I learn more than if I was healthy(if I never had that problem, I would probably have ended in hell...long story lol). I love God more than anybody/anything else!
I am preparing a trip to London or Oxford, to take courses and take the CAE exam, I'm looking for a family to host me there, got some contacts already but no clear answer yet. I know God will lead things according to His will.
I am thinking of my future, the final exam(which we call Baccalauréat or Bac in France) approaching dangerously. The possibilities are numerous, but I would love something that allows me to use foreign languages and help people in need. I have always wanted to be a specialized educator, so I may study for that, and I want to learn many languages. And....I am thinking of missionary, but this needs prayer, preparing, planning, thinking and really be sure God's calling me. But whatever God planned for my life will happen.
So how did I get there, on these boards? Well, first, how I heard of Disciple...
I didn't hear of disciple actually, I was looking for a good metal christian band on sephoramusic.com and I found a CD of Disciple, listened to the samples, and then got on deezer.com to listen to the full songs. I liked it. Disciple is actually the only metal band I really listen to and like.

I'm a table tennis player, I love tennis too and any sport, even if I can't really practice any. I love baseball, wrestling, soule, american football, bodyboard and surf.
I support my uncle(he's a table tennis player), Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Gaël Monfils, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, James Blake, I like Mick Fanning, Peyton Manning, and Kaka(the soccer player).
I also like table football, and Black Jack games.
I listen to every kind of music, as long as it is good music(and not just deafening noisy sound).
The books I read are not many, but here are some I love(d) reading :

I love watching movies and if I had to make a list of my favorite it would be too long ^^
I used to watch tv a lot, I used to watch tv series a lot, but I don't have tv anymore at home, and I think it's better that way.
I'm basically a hugger, and I just love everyone(I try at least ^^).
I love singing, going to church, hanging out with my youth group, I love drama(I'm in the drama class of my high school
), I love taking pictures(and make videos with them) and I love English!!

But I basically love them all, God's Word is God's Word and I wouldn't want to select things that just please me.

I am currently learning patience...God promised me things and I can't wait to see them accomplished! But I wait, He knows better than me when and how it must happen.

! Recently you all swung thru Topeka for a show. A buddy got our tickets then I got a major inner ear infection and couldn't go 
!! Talk about bummed! However, she had one of you guys sign me a T-Shirt. I will wear it proudly as you travel all over spreading the Gospel to those in need. Prayers are with you constantly. Have a very Blessed day~
