THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS

So me and Israel were talking. We think we would like to read The Screwtape Letters as our next Group Book Study book. I was just glancing over the length of the book... it is really short - only 100 or so pages long. Each chapter is a letter and is about 2 1/2 pages long. So I was thinking about reading 4 chapters a week which would be about 11 pages total and would take us 8 weeks to finish. Or we could do 5 chapters a week which would be about 13 or 14 pages and would take us 6 weeks to finish.

You guys can vote for which way you want to do it. Please only vote if you are actually going to read the book with us. Democracy wins.

I have wanted to read this book for a long time, and I'm very excited to start reading with it you guys. We will start reading it on Monday November 15. Love you all.

My vote is 4 chapters a week so we have a little more time to discuss and mull over things. I'm beyond excited you guys chose a C.S. Lewis book!!

I would prefer the 4-chapter-a-week method simply because of my course load right now. I'm still going to try to participate, but might not be able to keep up until break. I've been wanting to re-read it for a while anyway though, and apparently it's on my book list for one of my classes next semester.

This book is amazing!! For all of those who haven't read it yet are in for a real treat!!! This book shows spiritual warfare from a completely different perspective!! Enjoy!
