Hey guys! I'm Steph from Pittsburgh, PA. I just discovered Disciple a few weeks ago. A little over a year ago, my brother sold me his mp3 player when he got a new one, and he left a lot of his music on it. I often like to put it on random while I drive to work, and one day a few weeks ago Shine Down started playing. I thought it was a really cool song, and listening to the lyrics, I thought this must be a Christian band. So that got me looking into the band. I just got their self titled CD, and I've been listening to nothing but that CD for the last week and a half. The more of their music I hear and the more of their videos/interviews/etc. I see on youtube, the more I love them! It's so awesome how they really seem to live out their faith, and I love hearing the stories of how their music has impacted others. I love their lyrics. Several of their songs have been very meaningful to me, especially Be the Quiet and Invisible. And I love rockin out to Backstabber and Stripped Away!

I can't wait to get more of their music! I will be seeing them at the Alive Festival this June in Ohio. I'm so excited to see them live! I know some people who have been to their concerts and they say it is a great show! Nice to meet everyone!

Hey i'm Gerar Mazarakis from Stanford CA. Disciple's been a favorite band of mine for quite some time now. Before I was a Christian, I listened to Disciple for the music alone. After Jesus saved my life and filled me with His Spirit, I started listening to Disciple again because I hear what they're saying in the lyrics and it becomes a whole new worship experience. These are some guys who are led by Jesus to be in the world, looking and sounding like the world but carrying into the world the Spirit of the Living God in their music, which I can't get enough of. Back to me, my interests are playing guitar, singing a cappella, and mustangs. Looking forward to meeting some other Disciple fans out there!

Wait. Singing a capella and playing the guitar? Why not play the guitar while singing?

Hi *waves* I'm not new but I'll introduce myself anyway. I don't post much but I do read and lurk now and then. My daughter started dragging  me to concerts years ago when she was quite small, 5 I think. The first time I remember seeing Disciple was when they played with Kutless. I remember telling her, I think they are better than Kutless. (Don't tell Kutless I said that.) I don't know how many times I've seen them since. Just this past year I think we've been to six shows. Last May w/Kutless & Newsboys, Creation West, Downpour, twice in FL w/Skillet and We As Human, then RWRS last Sunday. But, from one corner of the country to the other, she forces me to go to these crazy Christian rock concerts. :D Good thing I like music and traveling. I wonder where she'll drag me next...
