Me and my sis like to make each other dive into the Word. A couple years back we were going back and forth on many issues in the Word and I believe it was beneficial to her as well. We, like others here, sometimes agree to disagree, and we leave it there. I agree with Sozo that with differing opinions, we force each other to open the Word and study, which in turn draws us closer to God. If anyone thinks that K and I are arguing, they are mistaken, I reassure you that we are not. She has helped me in my spiritual walk more than she could ever know and I publicly would like to thank her from the bottom of my heart because if it were not for her and phreaky taking the initiative in my life to talk with me when I joined the board and provide me with TONS of scripture, I would not be where I am in the Lord at this point in my life. So thank you to my friends. :D

This comes as a highly recommended read....and if you're familiar with Leonard Ravenhill, you'll know something about who recommended it.

Not only does this book face the issue from The Scriptures, it takes a decent look at the history of the "doctrine".

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Heaven's no we don't argue.....we sword fight. ;) And thank you for your kind words. It's been a growing process for all of us over the years. Iron sharpens iron....line upon line, precept upon precept.....here a little there a little....everyone grows hopefully in love most of all.
